Genesis® manufactures two low VOC Blanket Wash / Roller Wash / Press Washes, AW 2001-40 (Autowash 2001-40) and BRIGL (pronounced, BREEGUL). In an effort to eliminate petrochemical based raw materials, both utilize renewable resources grown on American farms. In fact, 90% of the raw materials in Brigl Wash are grown on American Farms. Both bio-based washes are extremely effective on cold set, heat set, UV & electron beam inks on both web and sheet fed presses. Just one of our press washes can clean blankets and rollers across the entire pressroom.

What is different about Genesis® AW 2001-40 and BRIGL Wash?

Unlike traditional low VOC press washes, AW 2001-40 or BRIGL Wash are not based on a combination of petrochemicals, water and soaps. Genesis® CaCO3 Cleaner is the smart, safe way to remove calcium from your system.

  • Are you battling roller-stripping from glazing/calcium build-up on your rollers or blankets?

  • Do you currently use vinegar or a calcium rinse for rollers?

Genesis CaCO3 Cleaner can assist in eliminating many blanket and roller issues associated with calcium deposits. When used as a final roller rinse, CaCO3 is extremely effective in removing calcium contaminants.

Using CaCO3 in combination with Genesis® Roller Cleaning Paste leaves rollers thoroughly cleaned and conditioned.

CaCO3 As A Fountain Solution Additive

CaCO3 may also be used as a fountain solution additive in extreme cases of roller-stripping, glazing, plate-blinding and/or paper dust deposits on blankets.

CaCO3 helps stop calcium deposits from adhering to ink rollers or filling plate-grain, keeping these deposits suspended in the fountain solution.
